Licence

Paid plans include a commercial licence. Screens you copy can be used in:

  • client work and work you are paid for
  • your own products, including ones you sell
  • startup products, internal tools, and prototypes

You can modify anything. Restyle it, restructure it, rebind it to your own variables, take one section and discard the rest. The result is your design.

There is no attribution requirement and no per-project fee. Screens you have already copied stay usable after your subscription ends — the licence attaches to the copy you made while subscribed.

The restriction is about redistributing the library itself, not about using the designs:

  • Do not resell or redistribute the raw screen files.
  • Do not repackage screens into a template pack, UI kit, or competing library.
  • Do not share your account. Access is per person — see Devices.

The distinction is between shipping a product you designed using a screen (fine, that is what this is for) and shipping the screen itself as the thing you sell (not fine).

The free plan is for evaluating the library. Commercial use requires a paid plan.

If your case is not clearly covered here, ask before you ship — email support@betterdesign.ai describing what you want to do. Answering that is much easier than unwinding it later.
